These documents are working launch documents for product operations and consent capture. They still need formal legal review before public launch.
No tax, legal, or financial advice
Outputs generated by the platform are estimates and informational workflow artifacts. They should be reviewed by the taxpayer or a qualified South African tax practitioner before filing.
The platform does not provide personal tax advice, legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, or a guarantee that SARS will accept a particular position.
User responsibility
Users remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and filing treatment of their tax returns and supporting records.
The platform cannot account for facts that were never uploaded, connected, corrected, or confirmed during review.
Facts determine SARS treatment
SARS treatment can depend on the taxpayer's facts, intention, trading pattern, residency, business context, valuation evidence, and supporting records.
Review Required does not automatically mean taxable, and Non-Taxable does not mean irrelevant. Both statuses may still require evidence for auditability.
Practitioner review remains important
Even where the platform applies FIFO matching, South African capital gains framing, and export-ready workflows, practitioners remain responsible for exercising professional judgment.
Users should seek tax or legal advice for complex DeFi, NFT, business, trader/investor classification, disputed valuation, residency, and other circumstances outside the ordinary workflow.
